Google PageSpeed Insights
Real Lighthouse scores (performance/accessibility/SEO/best-practices) and Core Web Vitals for the brand's own homepage — the Site Health unit inside the website leg. Free either way; a key only raises the daily ceiling.
The facts a reader needs
| What it unlocks | Site Health — the one dimension of the website leg nothing else in the stack measures: real Lighthouse scores and Core Web Vitals for your own homepage. |
| When it is called | Conditional legacy/local adapter only: two bounded strategy attempts when invoked. Hosted selected plans use DataForSEO Lighthouse instead and do not select PageSpeed. |
| Cost basis | $0.00. Keyless quota is a shared bucket that this account has observed already exhausted (25,000 requests/day with a free PAGESPEED_API_KEY; the keyless default has been measured at effectively zero live 2026-08). |
| Environment | PAGESPEED_API_KEY |
| Bring your own key | Not on this deployment. |
Nothing else — this is the one call this row makes.
Endpoints we call
| Endpoint | Why we call it |
|---|---|
GET pagespeedonline/v5/runPagespeed (strategy=mobile) | Mobile performance/accessibility/SEO/best-practices scores and Core Web Vitals. |
GET pagespeedonline/v5/runPagespeed (strategy=desktop) | The same, for desktop. |
Checks it powers
Public web sources (no account, no key)
Nothing — these are endpoints anyone may call: Wikipedia and Wikidata, Google News RSS, Reddit search, Bluesky, the Apple and Google app stores, the iTunes podcast index, Trustpilot, the platforms' own ad-transparency centers, Google Autocomplete, and the platforms' oEmbed endpoints. yt-dlp, an open-source CLI, reads YouTube and TikTok the same way. The free-sources round (2026-08) added two more to this same no-key list: GDELT DOC 2.0 (news mention volume with a tone score) and the archive.org Wayback Machine CDX API (the site's nearest snapshot to a year ago, plus its oldest snapshot).
USPTO TSDR (Trademark Status & Document Retrieval)
Real trademark status (live/dead/pending, serial number, registration number, filing/registration dates) for a KNOWN serial or registration number — the trademark_status unit inside the reputation leg. This pipeline does not yet have a name -> number lookup step (see src/collectors/free/uspto-tsdr.mjs for why that step is not built), so this row is real, working, and honestly idle on a typical pull today.
