The fourteen checks
Logos
Every mark on your site at usable size, each with the page it came from — and a clear label on any we had to fill in from elsewhere.
Check 08 of 14.
What happens
Logo candidates found in captured markup, including bounded, sanitized inline SVGs inside labelled header or navigation home links. Declared icons, photos, partner/client marks, badges and unknown assets keep their separate classifications. A candidate is an observation, not verified ownership or an approved brand asset.
Calls it makes
No call of its own — reads the website leg's captures, plus one bounded fetch of the site's own manifest.json when it declares one.
The facts a reader needs
| Language model | None. |
| Cost | No charge. |
| Depends on | Reads the website leg's captures. |
| When it is absent | If no first-party logo candidate is identified, the logo check stays limited even when icons, photos or other assets were saved. A missing or malformed manifest degrades to the <link>-tag icons only; it does not establish that the brand has no logo. |
Who supplies it
- Firecrawl — The site capture — and with it logos, colors, typography and screenshots.
- Brandfetch — A logo fallback for sites whose own markup carries none.
- Public web sources (no account, no key) — Everything below runs with no key at all, and always has.
